Line interactive is a very close approximation of pure sine wave, uses less power, than Online power-conditioning UPS, which have CLEANEST power, better than mains, has ZERO switchover time, but use more power and start at like 3x cost of line interactive. They have BIG fan, runs full time. DO NOT buy sine wave approximation UPS. Line interactive is not invented by CP, all brands have models. FYI Eaton/Tripp-Lite is used by enterprise. Eaton bought them.
