My Grandfather was an ardent York City fan back in 50's and 60's.... followed by his son, his daughter (my Mum)... and me...ever hopeful of their success. Having a good season.... No-one mentioned they have a 'small' match next Saturday... away to Forest Green... 2nd v. 1st.... I think a sell-out crowd down 'there' too!!

Was a great game yesterday, one of the very first games I ever went to was York Vs Hartlepool back in the early 90’s in the old division 2 (league 1). I’ll always prefer the old stadium but it was a good atmosphere yesterday. Good luck to York for the rest of the season

Hi mate sorry for the long reply thanks for the message. Yeah it’s been awesome games between the two in the 90s and league matches too. Bootham Crescent is a brilliant football atmosphere and miss the old stadiums but need to move on with the times. I beliefe they’ll be up this season but Forest Green will push them close and then standard in this league is excellent too. Really enjoyed the day too. Thank you so much #YCFC 🔴

I'm happier with yesterday's game than the City one. I think the city game was tighter, but i didn't really worry yesterday. We made them bottle it imo. Hopefully, we've got our mojo back, and that's the level we'll perform at this season.
