I went to San Jose job corps I had my son in the day care at the time my son was a couple months old I was 17 they would drive us to de Anza collage i got some computer skills and diplomas from there my son got expelled because he was fighting a lot of baby’s there and after that it would be hard for me to go every day so I got terminated I cried a lot I liked it there a lot it was a awesome opportunity I wish I never got terminated I made a lot good friends there the school helps you even on becoming a better you it’s really great they do drug test you and they are very strict there was no way you can get a way with cutting class or anything but I think that is a good thing to be on top of you because a lot of people that go there can really use that I went to the San Jose job corps my son is now 17 years old his on his last years of high school doing great things with his life I’m very proud of him his a life guard part time and also goes to the gym he trains to figth he has some figths in the ring he wants to be a big famous fighter one day and I 100 percent believe in him But anyways back to Job corps anyone that is thinking of goin there I would say don’t waste time and go and if your already goin there don’t get terminated focus and take advantage of this great opportunity job corps offers you

I went to Gary Job Corps in San Marcos, Texas when i was 19. I had a great time. I ended up leaving early because this chick back home told me she was pregnant, so i decided to leave and get a job (silly decision, i know, but i was young). Turns out she wasnt even pregnant. I alwsys told myself id go back, but life happens fast. Next thing i know i went to prison for 3 years and i was too old to go back. I didnt really really get my stuff together until i was about 29. Take advantage of opportunities and dont half ass them. Never put things off just because it seems like theres plenty of time to do it later. Im telling you, once you hit about 25, the years start FLYING BY. Thats especially true if you have kids, spouse or live in girlfriend or boyfriend, a job, etc. I loved job corps and i look back on my time there fondly. I met cool people that i hung with after job corps, but ive lost contact with them over the years. I remember this chick i used to hang out with and shed be waiting for me at my dorm every single morning. I always wonder what happened to her. I remember her first name, but dont remember her last name (even if i did, its likely changed by now). I wish i could come back into contact with her. She was a cool chick.

The food not good the admins have superiority complex bro u get wrote up if u say one cuss word idk which one she at but I’m in fort simco and it is horrible they have the most stupid rules no freedom unless u go on weekend pass if they approve it and thts after 45 days of being on center I have my diploma and u have to be in education forever if I fail the tabe test and the pay is 25 every 2 weeks
