The Sterlite 15-Gallon Black Latching Storage Totes from menards work really good for tackle storage. You can drill some small holes in the bottom channels for water drainage and cut the top down if you want a flush fit against the hatch as a permanent fit. Otherwise they also work good as is and are a portable option too. The 15 gallon version fits 3700 trays snug widthwise. You could probably get 10-12 trays. Or less with some speedbags for soft plastics fit in or other accessories.

You're not going to like your manual anchor pole on windy days. If you're fishing on the front of of you're boat and pull into a cove you want to fish, you're going to have to stop fishing and run to the back of the boat to lower you're anchor. By the time you get your anchor down, the wind will blow you off position, and you'll blow the area out.

I’ve actually never had this issue. Becuase the mount has a hinge the pole moves independently of the vertical movement of the boat. So unless the pole is at max depth it stays put really well. Never had it move me off spot unless it was at all the way max depth.

A 13inch Inshore mangrove snapper is a giant. Unless your fishing offshore mangroves don’t get much bigger than that inshore.

put a 40 2 stroke Yamaha you don’t need pods neither I’ve got similar built boat but mines a tad wider and a tad longer and I got mean 60 on mine I’m telling you you’ll be fine

I thought about that! Wasn’t sure if it was worth loosing the reliability and quietness of the 4 stroke for the two stroke. But it would be lighter that’s for sure

Yes it’s very reliable but the 4 is more so! Especially with lack of maintenance the two strike wouldn’t last. If you take care of it it would be just fine

What was your fuel pump problem? Did it cause gas to get into your oil? That’s what mine is doing and I’m wondering if it’s my fuel pump.

No it wasn’t that! The diagram was just old a weak and wasn’t providing enough gas to the system. I wish you the best of luck with your issue

For the tackle storage I would suggest buying the storage system from one of the bass boat manufactures, like skeeter, nitro, etc. you could mount it in there and have storage for all the Plano boxes and everything

What part of Florida? I havent seen much for spawners over in Pasco. All of our water is down from our drought this year so maybe they are spawning in different places.

The canaveral seashore is the state park where you can reserve an island to camp on! As to the fishing spots I can’t say.

Maybe no long winter but sustained water temps below 65 can make it interesting for these Florida Strain bass! And yes I have heard of some south Florida lakes that spawn that early but here in central Florida rarely is it seen before mid December. At least not the lakes I fish! Tight lines.

Hey! I don’t have any map spots but I can explain it. When you are on the part of the tami ami that goes directly across the state from Miami to napels the spots are all along that stretch! The more east the more fresh water species the close you get to napels the more saltwater species!

my mom, in her late 70's, went with me to lake jesup to duck hunt. while i parked the truck she let go of the bow line (for some reason i don't remember) when i got to the ramp she was in panic mode and was going to swim out to get the boat. she never knew how to swim haha. (forget the gators). as it floated down the shore line i was able to recover it

What type of leader are you using for snook?

For the fly I was using 30lb fly leader tied onto 17 pound tapered tipet! For regular rod and reel I use between 25-30lb flouro leader becuase of how abrasive there mouths and gill plates are!
