They don't know a thing about The Jazz Crusaders, free as the wind. There's this white 🤍 guy that played guitar 🎸 on just about every Lp that was produced, his name is Larry Carlton. I think that the injustice is, Larry wasn't made an honorary Jazz Crusade. It's true that Larry appeared on at least one of their Lp covers, those southern knights, I may have that title wr, if so plz forgive me. Larry as you may tell is one of my favorite guitar players & the last one of the Jazz Crusaders that hasn't passed away, speaking of Joe Samples, did you know that he played keys on just about all of Michael Franks LP's & also wrote/cowrote as well. So when ever I listen to the Crusaders, I can't help but think of how Larry got the short end of the stick 🏒 may they all rest, they did a great job 🖤...

I love how enigmatic and frantic this song sounds. It’s like slowly coming to the realisation that you have to get the hell out of wherever you are, then when those horns come in you’re sprinting as hard as you can but the whole world is disintegrating around you, and you start to fall into a chaotic, nightmarish realm, and all you can do is run, run like hell. Definitely the most sinister song they ever produced. You can almost tell that it was made for a hectic movie scene, it’s such a radically different vibe to most of their stuff. The only vaguely similar Underworld track I can think of is “Moaner” and its even more intense remix “Relentless Legs” - and those tracks were already outliers in their discography. I guesa “Rowla” has a somewhat similar vibe, but it feels more introspective and psychedelic to me.

This is the best version. The 90's songs remixes were always better than the original songs. They use to play this at night on the radio. I still love this song I had to look it up today since I couldn't find it on apple music.
