This was a wonderful youtube snippet and took us back to 2009 when, like you we saw this and had to climb it! Took great comfort in the fact that you didn't find it an easy climb as we are considerably older than you. We missed out on one point though...You can see the car park form the top and if you can't see a car in it you know noone will disturb you for at least 20mins!!! You have it to yourself..... to fulfill your fantasies!

go to the Matakohe museum it only 20-30 min drive south of Dargaville and is 10x better, trust me its awesome!!!
