Hello! Where are you? Any sign of life?

So I have 3 large tanks with about 25 fish ranging from .5 inch up to 8 inches and I'm moving about 15-20 hours away. I was thinking about bagging all of them separately. Maybe keeping some of the 3 inch and smaller together, up to 3. The bags I have are 12"x18". I was also planning to put them in a hard cooler to keep them in the dark and to hold heat. I was also debating if I should put a heat pack or 2 in there since it's been crazy cold in NY. Are those ok for the larger 5-8 inch fish? How much water would you recommend to put in each bag? And do you think this is a good plan? My bags also have rounded corners. Thank you for and opinion and recommendations. God bless.

I have a 10 gallon tank with a water filter AND an air stone…..along with a female beta and a pleco….BOTH seem to enjoy the air stone along with the water filter.

My guppy had babies last week,18 fries 🤭❤️, I am proud of her, but she still looks pregnant, I mean, a little bump remaining makes sense after birth, but the gravid spot is getting bigger and darker… it should be lighter and smaller, right? She is all stressed out this week. I'm afraid something is wrong with her. It's her first birth.

So I’m not tripping. I currently have 2 guppies in a 6 gal and some people said it’s too small of a tank and they don’t have enough room. All while I’m watching them have plenty of room swimming around and playing

sorry mate but food that contains wheat flour, wheat starch, wheat gluten, paprika and others ingredients in that list I don't consider it a good food for any fish..

I'm a bit disappointed. How much more room would a 5 gallon cube have taken? Even a TINY 2.5 would have been better. Used to like your videos. Sad.

We picked the most pregnant guppie from our community tank - put her in a breeding box - ended up with nearly 30 fry's just from one guppie - who now have their OWN tank. We are suckers for baby fish!

Well, I have 10 Serpae Tetras and 2 Black Phantoms in a 5 Gallon Tank, heavily planted with floating plants with long hanging roots ( It keeps the Light Level Low ) I feed them Hikari Pellets once a day 2 tiny pinches or Frozen Brine shrimp or Daphnia Once a day ( 1 small Cube ). I change water 25-50% once a week and I keep Nitrate levels no more than 20p per million. I have a sponge filter and 1 airstone, and lab test once a week. Many silk plants 1 rock and 1 piece of bogwood. Substrate is Gravel topped with 1.5 inch sand. All has been well for 6 Months. Would you say my small aquarium is overstocked?

What would be the ratio M/F. I have about 2-3 F but 10-12 Males. Too much for breeding?

Just spawned some congo tetras. I'm way more cautious and keep the fry in a 10 gallon with a sponge filter and change water 2x/week. But seeing your more casual approach helps me; it makes me a little less anxious about not doing everything the "right" way.

while you certainly dont need an airstone i find that it makes a big difference, and i dont understand why, gas exchange and whatever blahblahblah.. im talking about the health of the tank and for some reason things just seem healthier with an airstone,my only guess is that the flow it creates goes from the bottom up ? or maybe the air bubbles breaking the biofilm layer a certain way? id love to see actual scientific testing on this

Quite sad your fish have so little room

I've always had minor bubble misalignment with my tanks too. Never an issue. Currently, when I put the level on my tank, the bubble is slightly off, but if I look at the surface of the water in the tank, it is parallel with the frame of the tank.

I have the top fin mini betta bits that enhance colors. I juat got him and decided to give him one just in case he was hungry because i didnt know if he was fed. He just spit it out multiple times, even the smaller peices that broke off of it. Is there any way to diagnose the problem from that info? The food doesnt look too big 🤷‍♀️

I'm a retired physician. Pancreatic cancer is one of the worst. Stage 4 prognosis is usually less then 9 months. I sadly had several patients diagnosed with this and it never came out well. The biggest problem is that Pancreatic cancer is usually not caught until it is well established. A lot of the time it is found on a CT or MRI of the abdomen when the test was done for a completely different reason. Thoughts and prayers go out to your friend.

Hi, I own an Axolotl and I noticed that he stopped exploring and stayed in his log all the time. I asked for help on Reddit, and they all said that my cycle crashed. My nitrites are at 0.10ppm and my nitrates are at 0. Ammonia is also at 0, and pH is at 7.6ppm. All the advice on cycling I've been looking at talks about these huge spikes, but I'm having the opposite problem. Please help, I have no idea what I'm supposed to do and I don't want my axolotl to suffer.

If the stand is not level the the water level will not be level. A small variance wont be an issue. But if the fishtank base is level to the stand, then nothing will happen, even though the stand is not level. But if u have uneven pressure on the base of the tank, the actual glass, then thats another issue. Like a small stone or something pushing on the glass, then it might crack. Its creating uneven pressure on the glass. A crookwd stand is nothing but an eyesore.

Man, I have a tank with 4 glofish tetras and 4 cories. I feed a small pinch twice a day but the flakes get devoured within 30 seconds that I dont think theres any left for the cories. Should I buy a different type of food for the cories? The tetras look big and shiny but my cories kinda look thin in comparison.

Really enjoyed your experience based viewpoint in this video. I always thought it was a unfortunate choice that beginers always ended up with Guppies, Mollies, Platies and Swordfish, the most 'rabbit like' of all fish.😅 Many thanks for your videos.
