So peaceful apart from the bloody noisy cyclists in too much lycra 😮

I live in a small rural village on the fringes of the Lake District, and almost all the roads around my village are like this. On a Summer's afternoon I often take a stroll around the lanes too. Very relaxing.....

Yes. I can spend hours pretending that I am you, walking along such a countryside enjoying all the beauty that nature boasts. Very nice.

Yes, yes. I can picture myself being the kind of man you are, walking along the countryside, like, alone enjoying all that I see. Very nice.

I waved again.😊 👋 My husband is watching with me. We were talking about how different it is there. We have scorpions, rattle snakes and mountain lions around here. We live in the country on a farm. My dogs go with me everywhere. Thanks for sharing. Always a lovely calming end to my day.

Scorpions and mountain lions!! I would find it stressful to walk with dangerous animals roaming around!

Oh my, what a wonderful walk! I love the way that you are entrusted with closing the gates, walking among the sheep, and visiting the lovely old churches. We don’t really see that type of personal responsibility here in the States. A great way to spend a chilly Sunday in New England- thank you so much!

Very peaceful walk, except for when it said "Bull in the field" on the gate, and you went in anyway! I was a bit worried there, but I guess the bull was napping somewhere....
@DavesWalksКүн бұрын
I was cautious on that section, as its an official part of the Cotswold Way I have to assume the bulls are mostly friendly and used to walkers passing through. It is known to always give them a plenty of space and go right around them if they are with there young. Fortunately I don't believe it was in the field at that time.
@meagiesmuse2334Күн бұрын
@@DavesWalks - Good to know the bulls there are used to people. I've also seen a sign on a fence that said: "Can you cross this field in 9 seconds? Because the bull can do it in 10!"
@DavesWalksКүн бұрын
@@meagiesmuse2334 Ah yes, that's likely for private land where the bulls are not used to people in their fields. Best not going in those fields.

1:49:25 Why did you prevent that thing from being filmed by pointing the camera at the sky?
@DavesWalksКүн бұрын
Nothing intentional, was just some piled up sticks from children playing, I thought the treetops were looking particularly beautiful in that moment swaying in the wind.
