Hey just brought the game recently and doing practice with the wooden swords but loving it,wish had a console as im on PC but getting the hang of the keys and changing as i try to improve,enjoyed the multiplayer action here,looked awesome.

Not sure how much you guys care about this sort of thing, but in most fighting game tournaments the winner of the round is not allowed to change thier character, they must stick with the same character for as long as they win, only the loser can switch characters. It's for balance reasons, it gives the loser a chance to counter-pick to give them a chance at a comeback. Keeps competition a bit closer which in turn can make the matches more exciting for spectators as well.

Good point, dunno if will be implemented since the rules are quite set in stone and in addition many players play few characters they prefer even against counter picks some ameizing matches come out, But yeah some counter picks definitely happened and fates were decided

4:53 how did you get a punch strong enough to leave a red effect like that? I've dealt blows with a deep orange color, but never red.

Believe it's blood, sometimes when I jab a lot I see blood coming out of nose and hence I believe that is where blood is from.

@@USFC777 Maybe? When fighting the sparring partner, i've had times where i've given him a cut on the top left of his head, but I don't remember a red strike effect. My guess is when you hit harder than the yellow effect, the game may select a hue between orange and red to show how hard your strike was (kind of like a critical hit) and pure red is as hard as is practical (considering it one shot the opponent) This is just a theory though, I don't know for sure.

I also noticed the red effect at 6:19 too, but theres no way to make your opponent bleed there. plus is wasn't a weak spot, so no one punch KO

@@anothersonicfan7594Not sure myself, I sometimes do 12 round 5 minute games, setting damage to minimal, So I still get this effect sometimes especially if I bust a nose open, the damage is never critical in there since I get ko usually at round 12, and blood effect now and then but more research is needed

Scorchlander is better then a Greenlander by a mile, Weapon an Armor crafting bonuses, bonus to Dex and Athletics and Dodge, makes them the perfect crafters, assassins/thieves, warriors, martial artists and perfect for cutting type weapons like Katanas and Falling Sun. They also eat less and bleed slower then other races. While Greenlanders are cooks, farmers and scientists, with zero usefull skills and stat bonuses, scorchlanders on the other hand look like a DROW so they get bonus points from me! Skeletons are the best race for obvious reason, zero maintenance and best durability, just have 50 Skeleton settlers and you wont have to worry about anything ever, so u can just set it and forget it. Shecks on the other hand are annoying because they eat 25% more and bleed 10% faster, meaning more maintenance costs, and once they go down in battle, they will take longer to recover, making toughness training a bitch if you don't like exploiting game mechanics. Hivers are great, but only if you replace their crappy limbs, nuff said!
