Hi, PLEASE, please, please do not hurt the rare Australian beetle larvae. Christmas beetles were almost extinct because of this false information that people keep propagating. The creature you had in your hand was a beetle larvae. Even the experts can't tell you which beetle it is, yet you told everyone the worst. They do not damage crops and only do this when they run out of natural food. Some of these grubs are also moth larvae. Please support our beetles

Nice so far ! You might want to get a plastic strainer as the metal strainers have been known to scratch things in the later stages.

Finding Australia Kangaroo Penny 1938 is a great feeling. So much history is underneath our feet. It has a kangaroo on the reverse and King George VI on obverse.
