Excellent videos, thanks for taking the time and thanks for the links and description, you're the best. A question about these engine protectors Do you feel that they retain moisture when you wash the motorcycle or in the rain? Do you think water leaks or accumulates inside?

I am going to purchase this exact setup as it sounds and looks amazing but can I ask why you used the first adapter sleeve from 41.7mm to 44.9mm when there is a connecting sleeve available from AliExpress that goes from 42mm to 51mm?
@hein3g13 күн бұрын
Thank you for watching. I ordered all parts before the MT's arrived in NZ... So I measured the pipe diameter of the 450 SR and ordered the adapter according to that. So they ended not being the same🤦🏼♂️😄. But being quite creative I always make things work, reason I had to make some adjustments😁. Stay tuned and see the videos to follow.

Hey, very nice setup. I’m interested in the same thing. Could you tell me the dimensions of the pannier racks on Ali espress? I’m interested in the 48-liter Rhino ones. I want to see if they are compatible or if they are too large. Have you thought about whether you could do without the straps over the top of the seat and place them under the seat, or maybe modify them and attach them to the screws of the pannier racks? I’m very interested in your opinion. Best regards and thanks a lot.

How is it on the road at around 100kph, is it load ?
@hein3g2 ай бұрын
Hi mate thank you for watching. I've ridden this bike all the way from 100 to 158km/h and haven't felt any instability or vibration as some of the reviews claim. Being a small displacement I do notice when I load more weight in terms of pulling power. That being one of the reasons I'm sticking to the 14t sprocket. Perfect gearing for going offroad.

@@hein3g Hi mate, thanks for your response however, I was refering to the muffler and it now being louder. I am wondering if it is not overbearing at a constant high engine rpm ?
@hein3g2 ай бұрын
@@150_ADVenture Got ya , 'load' - 'loud'. Yes it is a bit overbearing at constant speed,but you can buy a insert to quiet it down for those long road trips.

Gday mate, thanks for the video, wondering how you're liking the Yoshimura Pipe? It sounds great on the vid. I was thinking maybe that the spring could be inverted so as the ends of the springs would not dig into the muffler body, only a suggestion. 😊

Hello from Spain! Great and useful videos! Thanks! I bought the same bike and I'm choosing a rack made of plates vs tubes. I am planning to use soft bags. I suppose the brackets made of tubes can protect the exhaust pipe during a fall. Have you thought about protecting the bike? Are you comfortable using these plates?
@hein3g2 ай бұрын
@@chivascap Thank you for watching. So far I have not had a big fall yet, and if I do I will probably scratch the exhaust a lot and if pannier bags are fitted will probably bend the mounting brackets. The tube design looks stronger because of the tube that runs around the rear bracing on the bracket on the other side. Was going to see where my contact points are when the crashbars are fitted. I will look into it and see what I'm going to do.

@hein3g2 ай бұрын
@@150_ADVenture Hi mate,thank you for watching. It's actually better than I thought. Pairing it to my cardo also works better than pairing to the bike. And because my phone is paired to the bike ,my steering controls still works. It's only the volume I still have to do from the cardo unit itself,which I am currently using anyway.Pre-downloading offline maps also works great. So,so far it was worth the price.

Hi Diablo,and thank you for watching. I haven't used mine without the racks, but I think they will be very floppy and loaded with weight I don't think that is something you want. That will affect the handling of the bike. You would also want to keep them away from going under the rear wheel arch.
