I'm sorry that Dean's estate would not let you use the name. That's unfortunate. It would have brought attention to Dean after his passing. This is one curious record. It's atmospheric like David Lynch. I would not call it lounge music per se.

Sigh, i miss the Elvis Room days. I had so much fun at the all ages shows during my HS years. So many great local acts, but also some great nationally touring grps as well. A drunk totaled my first car on the way to see Diesel Boy there. The Hellions put on a great show, and i always liked their bassists fretless bass. (I think i have the Highway 101 7in somewhere still)

@jeffandtaxes I still to this day break out Showcase Showdown at Xmas time. Merry Xmas I F**ked Your Snowman is a fun song lol. I have the record, but there's also a slideshow picture video someone made for it of calvin and hobbes inspired snowmen (among others). A friend of mines brother worked at Play Hahd for a while back around 93-95ish named Russ P, his gf Amy C worked there too. I wish more of the Play Hahd library was on YT, and that more small bands posted their old stuff. YT has provided some nice old gems, but it's sad to think what isn't available anywhere anymore.

Never played a Blockhead amp before. She has a lot of clarity and airyness to the notes. The sustain is perfect. You didn't waste anytime getting right into it. Sounds great.
