Awesome job! Love how much fun there is in your voice. As a suggestion for an even better if: you could try adding a touch of reverb to your vocals to help them seem a little more grounded within the track. Keep up the amazing work, and I can't wait for the next one, (and not just for the chance to add more banging tunes my playlist!)

Thanks for watching! I tried to play with reverb a bit but I struggled big times and was always ending up just making it echoing. This is definitely one of the elements I will be working on more! I'm still super happy with what I did considering it was my first time trying my hand at mixing! This is where I am starting from!

@@camille.gagnon Wow as a first timer you did a really great job! Heck even having done live audio I still mess up reverb & mixing and you sounded like a pro! The trick is to only use a little and play with the wet/dry as well as the type of room the reverb is modeling. A lot of musicians seem not to have that same "excitement"- for lack of a better word in their voices. And it deffinely makes the track yours. Plus the choice of cover song is pretty damn good!

No worries friend, for music production tips i recommend Andrew Huang's channel as well as Anne Reburn (however they haven't shown much of their process to my knowledge) It's great that you're able to have these conversations with myself as well as the rest of your audience but i'm afraid it's probably gonna get worse as time goes on. so be prepared for this to devolve into... KZbin comments. :L And to follow this enthusiasm and passion you have at the moment. - you'll keep creating awesome work but as the numbers of people increase there will also be an increase of the garbage. But hey, i'm just another person on the internet.
