So many bits of business she had to do to match the timing of the song, and she makes it all look so easy and natural.

I can't believe back then people said she was ugly and fat. Too me she was beautiful. She brings a smile to my face when she sings.

STEREO soundtracks came out in 1940 ( Walt Disney's "FANTASIA' featured STEREO sound at theaters in 1940 ) long before STEREO LP's came out .Then sometime after the year 2000 a new format called DES ( DIGITALLY EXTRACTED STEREO ) came about where they convert old MONO recordings into true STEREO recordings .

I consider myself lucky to have danced to the Glenn Miller style band led by Tex Beneke when they appeared in Delaware in the mid-1970’s. My wife and I were the youngest ones (age 25) on the dance floor. Magnificent!

Yesterday I saw the grave marker that was over her ashes at the Valhalla Portal of the Folded Wings structure which contains the ashes of many aviation pioneers. She is inside the structure as she was married to a VP of Lockheed Aircraft Corp. and is next to him. Just though to see what she looked like.

Actually, "Los piconeros" was first done by Imperio Argentina in "Carmen, la de Triana" filmed at UFA Berlin in 1938. The story in "La niña de tus ojos" was based on Imperio´s sojourn in Germany with her husband Florián Rey and the Spanish filming crew. Of course they took lots of liberties on the script of "La niña". All that said, I LOVE Sara Montiel´s version and her film "Carmen, la de Ronda" (1959) Thanks a lot for posting Paul!
