I translated this into grams: 1/2 cup flour = 180 grams 3/4 cup sugar = 150 grams 2 tsp baking powder = 8 grams 1/2 tsp salt = 3 grams 3/4 cup non-dairy milk = 180 milliliters (or grams) 1/2 cup melted vegan butter = 113 grams 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract = about 7 grams 4 tbsp lemon juice = 60 milliliters (or grams) 2 tbsp lemon zest = 10 grams

I love this recipe! I chopped the lemon peel (I wouldn’t recommend) the first go and it came out very lemony but good with coffee. I have a zester now and can’t wait to make it as instructed!

I made this for a birthday. It was great! I’ll put in a flax seed egg next time, as it was a bit crumbly. Otherwise, great 👍

I just made this recipe for my family. It’s delicious. I didn’t have fresh lemon so I used lemon extract. And I used olive oil (for baking) instead of butter. My family loved it. So moist. I did have some lemon juice concentrate for the icing. Thanks for sharing this video.

It does not rise like it is supposed to (condensed and hard) , I think it might be too much butter?? Maybe?? Does anybody else had the same problem?

I went to a website and found conversions. Flour-1 1/2 cups = 188g Sugar-1 cup = 200g (granulated) Butter-1/2 cup = 113g Plant milk-3/4 cup = 187g Hope this helps!

Cooking food directly onto aluminum is not good. You can end up with aluminum in your food which causes brain damage later on. Add a baking sheet/paper on top of the aluminum foil instead to separate it from the food.

Took mine after 40 mins and it was really dark almost burnt on the outside and seemed really undercooked on the inside. I don’t know what I did wrong?? I’m always hopeless at baking😭

*180°c = 356°f* *So 350°f should work fine.*

I don't understand......the first cake using a Silicone mold was a complete flop as the bottom never cooked.....So.....I threw it and started another one in a metal mold.....well.....it cooked but never rose!!! Anyone have any idea why? Both ended up in the garbage....the first one was half raw and the second one never rose so it wasn't cooked inside either....I used Vegan margarine instead of Vegan butter but I doubt it would have prevented the cake from rising!

Could you add the measurements in grams? 🥺 in Tokyo the “cup” sizes are different and recipes never turn out the same at least I am precise with the grams. Oh, how I like lemon bread! 🤤

My mixture came out like water, not sure where I went wrong. Maybe too much wet ingredients? Will try next time with less milk and oil and lemon juice
