This was close and intense fight, Royval obviously knows alot on the ground too. Hopefully he's worked on his striking more. Hard to say if the eye pokes were significant, but Brandon doesnt get sloppy again and get his back taken from overextending, then he has just as much a chance as winning, theyre not that far apart.

didnt realize brad riddell was in the corner for this fight as well. Looks like ckb has been with volk for all his ufc fights except his debut. Wierd (esp with brad in his corner), ckb decided to let shane young fight a stablemate.
