I never quite understood why evie pinned everything on tracey in the end. Evie influenced her, not the other way around.

The one thing i don't like is that is only Tracy that is give shit for the things she does, other characters like her stepfather, her brother, evie and even her mother also does bad things like drinking, be promiscuous and smoking but is only Tracy that faces consequences, it would be better if the other characters also have to face some consequences, since is quite hypocritical that they are judging her but not looking at themselves, i guess is my only gripe with the movie, it's good nevertheless, the best movie about girlhood.

As someone who had done most the things Evie and Tracey had done when I was 13 I absolutely love this movie because its a lot like what happened to me, from being influenced by others to start acting differently and how that got worse and caused a lot of problems like in school at home and with friends. Which is why it annoys me when people say “this movie isn’t accurate” or “13 year old don’t act like that” I understand that they haven’t been exposed to it but that doesn’t mean that others haven’t.
