I'm having trouble figuring out the textures thing when I put my object in it keeps its own texture until it is joined with the Sim one

Hi I want to know tow to make costume furniture from scratch

Just in case anyone finds their object inside out somehow and dont like it : go to edit mode -> mesh -> normal -> and then recaculate outside and you can leave it. If this advice is not helpful or inaccurate lemme know

Every time I try to use blender, someone show what to click on and I do that but mine never does what it's supposed to 😭

This doesn't even work. I can't use version 2.7 of Blender anymore without it crashing by itself. I have Blender v.4.2 and it works great! I think you should make new tutorials with v.4.2 which is the maximum version which S4 Studio supports right now. The oldest version you can have is 3.6. Idk how to make that with the meshes T_T

I have followed every step but when I try to import the joined one into sims 4 studio, it gives me a super long error message. I have not been able to import anything into sims 4 studio as it always gives me this message :( any idea what the problem might be?

I have zero knowledge of blender 😭

tested it in game and even though the model worked, the texture didn't, and i bet the texture turned into some question mark. I hate sims 4 modding.

my baked texture comes out just white with no shadows :(

I made my file on blender 3.6 something or other, so I spent a whole day trying to get it into 2.70. Basically what I did was export my model in the 3.6 blender as an obj then click file import, then it was magically there. I kept clicking append and open, but I guess that's not how 2.70 works 😅

How do u get ur camera so close up, ive looked it it says ctrl and arrow up key but it dont get that close up
