I LOVE THIS SECTION OF THE RIVER. First of all, Anita at Two Rivers is so great to talk to, great outfitter. Next, you get to see Cardareva Bluff and Bee Bluff (9:25), two fabulous views. And, if you HAVE to float on a saturday, this middle current from Round Spring down to Log Yard is the quietest, particularly before noon when the jet boats wake up :D Quick question - is that cardareva at 15m?
@ExperienceTheOzarks2 ай бұрын
I’m not sure what the bluff at 15:00 is called, I haven’t been able to find a map that has it labeled so far. It’s the first one after Big Creek!
@rootwad2 ай бұрын
@@ExperienceTheOzarks You're right! I thought 15:00 was called cardareva, but I'm looking at the map and that's further downstream above Log Yard. I don't know what this spot is called but it's gorgeous and every bit as beautiful as Bee Bluff. Look forward to the next one - see you on the water!!!

Another great video, looks like I am there on a big screen TV. Was wondering do they ever remove fallen trees like where you had to get and walk the canoe under those huge tree's ? You look to be an expert paddler but I could see a beginner getting into big trouble.
@ExperienceTheOzarks3 ай бұрын
@@bethw8701 as far as I know the downed trees aren’t typically removed, but sometimes they are cut to make the river floatable

@@ExperienceTheOzarks Nice! Looks like maybe you stopped just before Bee Bluff but after Big Creek, it's been awhile since I've done this stretch so kind of a guess. Your 2nd day about the first thing we see is Bee Bluff right away so I'm thinking you stopped in that stretch just before it. I just don't remember all those cliffs on the left like that.

Great video. Just a nice head view of floating the beautiful upper JF. ELL done👍🏻 River looked in great shape. A little higher water(I am assuming) with keeping the majority of the clarity. Do remember the river stages at Buck Hollow and Alley during your trip?

That would be a great trip! Trouble depends on the water levels, so I would definitely check before going. The gages would need to be around 2 feet
