I don't think that is the value of the hotel..maybe $12million is the money spent on construction of the hotel..just like their project ..,the hills, the $280million is not, the value of that project but that's is the money spent on construction or what they call capital

Mnangagwa empire, this will be the King of Zimbabwe very soon. He is very clever and continue to grow his empire. All powerful positions are slowly taken over by his children and the economy is dotted with Mnangagwa businesses. Once they get rid of Chiwenga surely we shall witness the ascension of ED Mnangagwa as the king of Zimbabwe. I don't see anyone stopping it, every potential threate is being obliterated.

Irrespective of this project, do you actually know that some of these projects being done and hailed as this regimes unique developments were in the pipeline since the 80s & 90s, meaning we should have passed these stages of development decades ago. You beg to ask the question, why was it not being done all this time. (Please don't consider sanctions as the reason). With that said kudos to them for finally implementing what was already planned but at what cost? Inregards to the decline of the once vibrant and boastful infrastructure, to being knocked out off the 2nd to S.A infrastructure in Sadc by the likes of Botswana and Zambia. It saddens me to see our country as a laughing stock. We do hope and pray the greed and corruption can be cut from the roots of the people here. Some of the major projects now like the Mbudzi interchange have become stagnant, continuously missing deadlines because of mismanagement in funds n resources. With that still one of our biggest problems in the constant decline of the country as a whole, we will not rise above but go around in circles if not dealt with first hand. I do wish and hope the president's vision of an upper middle class by 2030 can be rooted in future leaders and the people of the country, so that it becomes part of the Zimbabwean heritage to sustain and develop for the betterment of Zimbabwe as a whole
