Hola saludos si le pones el Dongle al DJI mini 4 pro obviamente le sumamos unos gramos más. Como tú lo dices en el comentario •El DJI dongle está más en focado para lograr hacer tomas difíciles y no tener pérdida de señal mientras tengamos señal 4G •Por ejemplo : imagínate que estás volando y hay unos edificios que van a hacerte perder la señal del RC con el dron por donde quieres pasar entonces para no perder la señal y lograr esa toma que uno quiere entonces le ponemos El DJI Dongle mas que todo para algo así está enfocado el DJI Dongle •Y de batería con la batería plus es suficiente para hacer bastante cosas

This device would be a game changer here in the US. My DJI Air 3 has a seven tenths of a mile maximum range. (I have no idea what DJI’s talking about when they claim like, a 15-20 km range.) Now, I do live right smack dab in the middle of Las Vegas, Nevada, just two miles from the Las Vegas strip. So, yes direct line of sight without buildings in the way (mostly apartment buildings and shopping centers.) is an impossible ask where I live. Again, if this device ever makes it to the US, this’ll change the game up entirely. I’m not even sure this should be allowed because it would have so many nefarious applications. (Like dropping contraband into a prison/jail for one.)

The Whole point of the Mini 4/Mini 4 pro is its sub 250 gm weight limit, This device puts it over. So what is the point ?

The point is that if you have to go somewhere and you are going to lose the signal, install the DJI dongle so as not to lose signal.

This is definitely only an advanced prototype. The concept makes sense when you are certified to fly above 250gm, but then no matter how far you are able to extend your operating range your battery capacity will be your next hurdle. Since we’re over the 250gm, maybe the next accessory to come out will be a means to piggy back a second flight battery with this cellular dongle?

it weighs 30g ish fully loaded, it really isnt going to affect battery life that much, and not only that there are extended batteries available offering 46minutes, so if you do use this setup you are over 249g so may as well also buy the long life batteries and just make sure to conform to local flight laws

Well yes, adding anything over 2 grams will put it over the 250g mark. They have stickers that will do that. If you are needing to add an extra battery, it’s time to upgrade your drone.

Since it's mandatory to fly VLOS in most country's, which means not over 500m away (nobody can convince me, that he can still see the M4P beyond that range), it makes no sense to use that. Also it will bust the 249g weight limit. I've never encountered signal loss during flight inside the VLOS possible distance. Not in urban areas and especially not in rural ones.

@@jonnywilson6433 Enterprises or professional film crews don't use the M4P or Air 3 for production, and even fore those, flights without VLOS are banned in most EU country's.

I hope this fix the Mini4Pro issue i have. A 3 months old drone, no crashes no damage and yellow/red rc signal and after 600m away i get RTH.. the only way to get White RC Bars is flying 3meters away only. Sux!

@@cmtebespalez I have no range issues with my Mini 4 Pro and RC 2. The Cellular dongle will allow for longer range and lower altitude flights at range.

With the DJI Dongle 2, as long as you have 4G signal, it would be unlimited signal and would depend on the battery and flight duration.
