Do you have to SBR with this brace? Gunsmith wouldn't install today 😢😂🤦🏿♂️ Edit: My receiver needs to be drilled to install on Draco. I could do it but dont have the space to do the work. Reason why i went to a gunsmith.

@tnolds same as I thought. I didn't want to put up a fuss at the counter and I even told him it's a folding brace. It was still in the original shipping plastic so idk if he got a good look at it. But I let them finish up the other work I wanted to get done. I'll try a different gunsmith when I get it back in a couple weeks from some other work im getting done to it. Thanks for the swift reply bro 👍. BTW she looks good.

Cars doing great. Mostly just regular old car maintenance stuff. But I'd change the cv shafts if they haven't been already.

@@tnolds Have you replaced the water pump? Im currently doing so myself but I cannot by the life of me get one bolt out that is at the very bottom. Clearance is ridiculous!

I drove a 77 Astro , it was a little longer and had air ride suspension. It also had a 430 horsepower 8V92. Had lots of power, and horrible fuel mileage. Best I ever got was 4.7 MPG.

My parents had a moving company when I was growing up...they had a couple of Astros just like this one...seemed like a 318DD was a big step up,from a 238DD....anyway a decent motor for the time...as long as you put a gallon of oil in them about every 1000 miles..lol

Hi, I'm an old guy now but back in the seventies I bought a '73 Transfer with a 318 Detroit and I took the mufflers off and put 4" chrome stacks up high. It was the loudest thing I've ever heard when under load. They blocked me from driving thru the Chesapeake bay bridge tunnel. I pulled a 42' reefer, always loaded with frozen foids. Uphill to she would scream!!
