It's a very good little start up tool. It has limited data stream, probably more than your average code reader. It'll also graph various signals in the car as well. You can get fuel circuit voltages map/maf graphs and status, engine rpm engine speed coolant tempature just small things like that. Like I said, good start up tool, and the information for both the generic and manufacturer specific (yes this is a manufacturer specific code reader, none of that global only generic code crap) is plentiful and extremely helpful.

I'm curious if this code reader will do anything other than read codes. Given that is is called a "code reader" I'm guessing no. For instance, Lets say I scan CEL and get an EVAP code that says Canister vent shut valve stuck closed. Can I check the EVAP canister shut valve position with live data? Can I use the tool to operate the valve on/off? This would be helpful when diagnosing a bad solenoid or actuator.
