@@oOMXROo no 10 out of a normal 37.5 = 26 % is pretty bad, but considering this field has not been maintained, isn't tiled, and has not had any kind of TLC for the last 50 years it is not unexpected. Also in my area, the soil is filled with rocks, so it's a constant worry for my farmer which makes it that he wont cunt or pick up as close to the ground as one would normally do in a rock free field!

I believe they’re black raspberries… when they get ripe, they’ll be a blackish-reddish or reddish-blackish color. Soooooo good! We used to have some on our property while I was growing up (along with the more annoying Himalayan blackberries, which love to take over everything and everywhere if you let them). But in any case, black raspberries make great preserves/jams and pies!

Rubus species or some sort for sure. Could be raspberry, blackberry, black raspberry, etc. Fruits are ripe when they easily pull off the bush & slightly soft 🌱. Also a fun tidbit: Rubus will typically only produce fruit on 2 year old canes. Flowers are usually self fertile & easily pollinated by insects. All the common species (in the states) are edible, although some aren’t the tastiest. Just be sure no one is spraying pesticide or other chemicals 👍.

Dropping off FOR burn pit, not dropping off IN the burn pit... those qualifiers are important. That tire you see is part of this tool (kzbin.info/www/bejne/aGfMh2qLZZuKedE) I don't want to burn it! it's a snow rake that is use sometime in the winter. This is simply a collection point. I can't reach my burn pit right now because my field is just so much drenched with water and it would create some ruts which would require repair. Next time just ask the question instead of assuming I am doing something inappropriate!
