That's uglier than homemade sin!! I have a '31 P/U and even in upstate NY snow, if I chain up the rear tires, there's basically no way I'm getting stuck and the bolt on hub extensions on the rear let me wrap a rope around them and turns the truck into a winch if I do get into a drift that high centers the truck. People think they're for stepping on and they can be used like that, but they're basically powered capstans. In the time my family has had the truck since '49 it's never needed another vehicle to pull it out. Chain the front to a tree and put the rear on some logs and you've got a winch to pull others out of ditches. Old timey common sense and mechanical goodness!!
