Is it noisy on the road ?

I think so many vans are overbuilt. I mean, they're cool and all, but they've become like HGTV design competitions. I don't see the point of spending so much money on vans that will eventneed to be replaced. Then what? Build again? Yes. Or replace the engine and/or transmission. So I would rather be practical and build something like this. And I'm sure most of this can be removed and transferred to another van fairly easily. I want to do van life full time, and I want to be able to recoup my investment in under two years. There are ways to make a van a home more simply, but with quality work, like this.

Good going with the black mesh, less noticeable. As it would be inhumane to expect a dog to be restricted to the confined space for a long time, I'd have gone with a door which could be retracted out of sight. Maybe a flap hinge with a cantilever handle to avoid bending, or a hinge on a slide for the same stowed position, sliding mesh :o I was thinking of the same area for my dog, but the door would be used as a step for a higher bed higher garage. I hope the spare seat can swivel if a double, with space to move between into the van

Nice rig. The only thing I would suggest is transitioning to compost toilet and switching to 12v ACs. I imagine it would creep up the cost a little, but it makes a huge difference.

Like how you keep adding small but definitely functional upgrades to your builds. This is a solid build that will take the varying climate changes and the beating on rough forest service roads. I think the build is a pro master 118 wheelbase ram pro master 1500... The 136 wheelbase has cargo area about eighteen inches longer.

Ok I must say after looking at the complete build I really like the following: 1. The use of extruded aluminum. Looks really neat, clean and professional. 2. The flooring. It’s easy to clean, durable and light weight. 3. The complete galley area, specifically the aluminum backsplash, switches for the hot water heater. 4. Pass through area in the garage and bed slat system. 5. The electrical system with 8020 cabinets and plexiglass door. 6. Camouflaging the shore power connection and keeping the water fill inside the garage. Keep up the good work!
