I love this!! i had a 1994 JDM Prelude 2.2 VTEC 4WS H22A in black. i loved that car, I worked on it myself, then wrote it off...doh!!

Ahh that's such a shame! My other Lude was a black JDM 2.2 as well! Unfortunately that one had to go to scrap but many parts off it are ok this build now!

Make it work thats how all new car design are made. Charlie needs to put his business paint card around town. Just imagine how many people will call him up. You need an anime layout image look after all is done. Take it to future car show in town vlog.

You both are bravery would not spray or sand without a mask filter or water fan bucket in the room turn on. First safety ventilation air out fumes always better for the lungs to last longer in the hard mechanic labor environment. Stay safe and healthy always.

I appreciate that, generally we do use masks etc for anything that is creating a lot of dust or fumes but where these are minimal we use our judgement. The room was well ventilated at the time too. Thanks for your concern though!

@universetechnique considering the car is fully built now and I am uploading retrospectively I can say I have outlasted the car :) as I say we use our own judgement as to when we feel we need masks etc but if it's well ventilated and dust is minimal we do not feel it necessary. We're not professionals and don't have loads and loads of equipment available so we are doing our best

Well as much as we eat and consume toxic stuff unknowingly in food and water. I'd still recommend respirators for painting or spraying any chemicals directly. Well ventilated or not ✌️❤️

@brunoob-1 I can’t change the way I talk unfortunately, as much as I want to accommodate people’s needs I’m neurodivergent myself and that speed is the way I think and talk. Hopefully people who want to watch my content will re-read it if I’m talking too fast. Even if I tried to speak slower it won’t accommodate everyone. Adding captions helps reach people with hearing issues. Sorry, I don’t know how I can do any better. It’s hard to please every single person this might reach but I’m doing my best. Perhaps next time I’ll try the auto captions which have a few words up at a time. I’m fairly new to creating content like this so do bear with me :)

DISCLAIMER: when welding and grinding please make sure you wear the correct PPE. Charlie is very experienced in welding and grinding so unfortunately he does not always think he NEEDS to wear PPE but you definitely always should! Do not try this at home without the correct PPE x

Haha no definitely haven’t!! It’s actually fully built now we were just so busy getting it done I couldn’t keep up with editing videos at the same time. So the videos are now catching up 😊

Great tutorial video. I bought my 4th gen with the glass roof already but I need to remove it to treat and repaint the internal rim as its rusted. This vid will be handy when the day comes when I have to remove it. I look forward to your next vid.

It does but it didn’t work (a common fault with them!). I bought a replacement but that was faulty also, so I have two that don’t work. Going to try to fix them at some point, but luckily my red prelude came with a working one!! 🥳🥳
