Can I here John's old broadcast somewhere?it would be a shame if they don't exist.

I so loved him. He was so influential in my 18 year old life at Ruggles Street Baptist Church 1959. Great humor remained. Thank you may 9 2023.

I was hoping I could find more John DeBrine content from the past on KZbin. Nice to here John’s voice though.

John DeBrine was a classic - his stories were like no others. He tells of his adventures on the road speaking Sunday mornings at different churches. Before church, he might have a cup of coffee and a danish. After church a family would invite him over their house for Sunday dinner and the host would finally say - we will eat when the potatoes are done. This was sometimes 2 or 3 Sunday afternoon and John was a good eater, and without much of a breakfast he would get his fill after all those hours to the astonishment of the host.
