If a bouncy castle with a roof gets used in the rain,is it not a slip hazard getting onto it? Or would drying the exposed parts of the bouncy castle with a towel be sufficient before use? I know the Gibbons blowers and 16 amp connectors are weatherproof. Thanks.

It can be a slip hazard like any wet surface, fortunately the rain cleared as the day went on

It says adult? bouncy castle for a 12x12ft. I didn't think adult bouncy castles were smaller than 12x15,usually 15x15,15x18,18x18.

I didn't realise you could use only 4 Sandbags to hold a castle of that size up from sliding around, i would have thought 6 (1 on each peg) ... ps I'm new to this

What do you do if it rains for the blowers? I've seen covers for them but you're not meant to obstruct the windflow, so I'm a bit confused

The Gibbons 1.5hp blowers are IP24 rated. And if 16 amp connectors are used those are weatherproof too. Those blower covers would be needed on a beach. The plastic Gibbons 1.5hp and 2hp blowers you can fit an optional extra foam filter guard on.
@InflatableFun

What are those Gibbons 1.5hp blowers capable of inflating before you need a 2hp blower? I guess bigger than 18x18 would need a 2hp blower? Thanks

nice set up only thing id done differantly is instead of running the cable across the patio doors which would be most likley point of entry so would of ran it down the left with the other cable, i do pa systems and ill pick routes where pepole wont walk even running power in flower beds ;) then the stage area id run all my power/audio stage left back and stage right so keeps the front free of cables where possible i try my best too avoid trip hazards

Those black plastic Gibbons 1.5hp I find quieter than the metal version. I just bought a brand new metal Gibbons 1.5hp blower this month. It's not just louder than the black plastic Gibbons 1.5hp blower I also have but it rattles. I thought it was faulty so got it swapped over for another one,which also makes an irritating metal rattling noise in use.

Nice setup! When the blower falls over like that with it attached to the blower tube,is there still a chance of breaking the cone part on it? Or that just happens in transit? Or accidentally dropping it? Thanks

I'm going to be a bit annoying but could you please watch the 2nd newest video I uploaded. About 16 seconds into it. And tell me if the metal Gibbons 1.5hp blower is supposed to make a metal rattling noise? It's one I bought brand new a few days ago. If it's not meant to make that noise. I'll have to return it for a replacement. Thanks

If you send me a link to the video I will have a look, it could be the flap inside the cone, as you bounce on the Castle it can force air back into the blower and can make a knocking sound

That was almost a water slide in the waterlogged garden! John having fun trying it out was cool too! Last but not least have your metal Gibbons 1.5hp blowers got a really beefy cable on them? That looks almost overkill. I bought a new one and the cable is a lot thicker than the one on my black plastic Gibbons 1.5hp blower. Maybe they started doing this or did the older blowers have that too? The strain relief part for the cable on the metal Gibbons 1.5hp blowers is much more robust compared to the black plastic version though. Thanks

Most of the cables on my metal blowers seem quite standard, maybe it's a new spec on the newer models

I am actually trained in Pat testing, the reason why building electrical equipment on building sites are tested more often then let's say your kettle for example as it's in a high risk area, and is more likely to get damaged or the fuse gets replaced with a metal screw for instance if the fuse blows as that has been known to happen but it all depends on the risks etc, 12months is usually for class 1 earthed appliances and 2 years for your double insulated class 2 appliances, but you can choose to pat test less than 12months if you think it would be more safer, as an appliance you use might be OK to use today but might not be safe tomorrow or the next time for instance hence why it's always recommended to visually inspect all the cables and plugs. I have known about PIPA testing for years as I used to go on castles a lot as a kid. I once was at a kids birthday party and they had 3 castles when I went one one the blower suddenly went off , so I wen't round the back to take a look and by god the wires was not safe at all, I even said to myself and a few others if that was my business and castles I would not hire them out in the state they was in, plus it down poured so I made an executive decision to turn them all off, when the shower passed only one or 2 if I remember correctly out of the 3 only went up. we tried to see if we could get the others working without success. by looking at them they would have deffo failed a PIPA test.

I have a question. If I rent a 13x13 is it too smallfor me my daughter and her dad to jump in? Should I go 15x15 or 15x18? Do you go based off of weight restrictions or individuals sizes? I jumped in a bouncy house for my friends 18th birthday with 4-5 friends at a time so I’m trying to figure that out since this year we won’t have a big party just a small get together and I’d like to enjoy some of that time with her too
@castlekingdom
@castlekingdom 3 ай бұрын
Hi there, if adults are to use the bounce house you will need a larger adult size castle, the one in the video is a 15x18 and would accommodate around 10 kids or 6 adults. Adult castles are larger than standard 12x12s and generally have reinforced beds to withstand the extra weight 12x12s or 13x13s are generally suitable for under 12s and not designed for adult use, so for teenagers and adults a larger bouncy castle would advised.
