Hi, I would like to look for composer Mary Donnelly and George Lo Strid about their piece <the rainbow >. May I know how to contact them? Hope can hear from you soon. Many thanks.

As soon as I heard this I HAD to perform it with my students. We performed for our main competition (UIL) and it will always have a special place in my heart.

When I first show this piece to my students, almost every time I get a couple of students that shed a tear at measure 84 when the piano kicks back in. This was a nice piece to perform with my students and it really brings back a lot of great memories.

Is the text adapted from emily dickinson's (hope is the thing with fethers)? The first quatrain of the first line sounds like the words from that poem. They just change some words, but it's the same rhyming pattern and structure. For those who are familiar, listen to that first line. You will see an element of dickinson in the lyrics. I'm surprised it is not mensioned in the description if it's adapted from the poem but I feel like they used dickinson's peace

I looked up this song in my song book and it has only the chorus sadly, I would love to have all the lyrics so that I can understand what's being sung. Could you post the lyrics to this song please?

Sang this in the 70s in Kerala, India, with different words though, in English...Reminding those childhood days in school..Never knew the origin is Czech.
