I absolutely love this park! We had 4 beautiful days a few weeks ago. Were you able to spend anytime in the Jededah Smith area? The trails and trees there are magnificent! It's great you made it to Natural Bridge in Oregon. The Oregon Coast is an absolute treasure. If you get back that way, Bandon is a wonderful town to stay in, and the tide pools at Face Rock beach are beyond your imagination! Thanks for sharing your experience. What time of the year did you visit?

@@nationalparksprincess3216 I did not get to spend time in the Jedediah Smith area 🥲 but that gives me another reason to visit again! Hannover sounds like a weird first city to visit in Europe as 15 of the world‘s 20 greatest cities are in Europe and Hannover isn‘t one of them. But, actually Hannover is not a bad choice as it is a city that is very typical European and very average at it, so it will give you a great baseline expectation for everything else. Other options for great but average European cities: Cluj Napoka, Porto, Lyon, Basel, Krakow.

Did you literally do everything one day in Joshua tree and everything after that in one day in Los Angeles? Or did you spend much longer in Los Angeles than that, because it looks like everything you saw would’ve taken at least two days!
@workingweekender2 ай бұрын
@@a-muse6567 hi! We spent one full day in Joshua Tree staying the night in the town closest to the park Twentynine Palms, CA. The next morning we drove to LA and saw some of the highlights before our flight home that evening. So it looked something like this: -Friday evening: fly to LA, drive an hour inland -Saturday: Continue to JT, see JT, night in 29 Palms -Sunday: Drive to LA, see highlights, fly home This worked out for us because we’ve mostly seen LA before, but I would definitely schedule more time here if you’ve never seen it and would like to spend more time here. As for Joshua Tree, I guess it might have been the off season (early December), so we got through the park relatively smoothly without being rushed.

I was enjoying your video until you started talking about devils tower was “200 million years old”. Really?? No… it’s not more than about 10,000 according to God’s word. Too bad you didn’t leave off the fake “evolution” nonsense.
@workingweekender4 ай бұрын
Hi @yarddogjones3914, Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I understand that we may have different views on the age of Devil's Tower and the Earth. My intention was never to cause frustration or discomfort, but rather to share information as I understand it. It's important for us as Christians to communicate with love and patience, especially when discussing topics that can be divisive. A non-Christian reading our exchange might become more resistant to our message if they sense anger or defensiveness. We can share our beliefs without creating barriers. When you wrote your comment, did you believe it would help change my perspective? Sometimes, a gentle approach can be more effective in encouraging meaningful dialogue. If you're interested, here's an article that discusses different views on the age of the Earth within the Christian community: www.christianity.com/wiki/bible/how-old-is-the-earth.html (you may need to copy and paste; I'm not sure if links work in KZbin comments). It explores various perspectives, which might be enlightening for both of us. There are a lot of unanswered questions for us as humans. We cannot know it all; frankly we really should not want to know it all. But we can have faith in the One who does. There are a lot of unknown details which the Bible does not provide straightforward answers, and that is okay. At the end of the day, the most important message that it does clearly provide is that of the good news that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died for our sins and was resurrected, offering salvation and eternal life to all who believe in Him. Through His sacrifice, we are forgiven and reconciled to God. And that this gift of grace is available to everyone, inviting us into a loving relationship with God. Have a good day, Rachel
