There is a free, open source formant toy for iOS called “Howl”. It’s fun to play with. It’s helpful to get a feel for formants by letting you interactively play formants almost as musical instrument.

Does this - not nasalization, but anticipatory coarticulation apply when I got my tongue already in the /l/ position before I release the /k/ in eg clear, clean, close, clone? In distinction to cologne /kloən/ or Khalifa /kli:fə/
