i’m a hard core wang wook believer but everything went so wrong and it gets worse. he was torn between his family and his love for hae soo. like So, he just wants the throne to protect the people he cared for, but it all ended up wrong and he’s the masterminds of most of the treason and manipulation. he’s wise but he used it so wrong just to get the throne and hae soo back. it pains me when the softest and gentle person turns out to be the mastermind ☹️

Nah I didn’t like Wook after he just watched his sister whip haesoo and didn’t do a damn thing about it. “But it’s his family. Those were the times. He couldn’t interfere bc those are his sisters ladies and it’s her responsibility to deal with punishments” Nah 🙄 He was a coward during the whipping, a coward during the tea poisoning, and a coward afterwards when he couldn’t even talk to haesoo bc of his shame. Wang So may have been brutal and cruel but he really watched out for haesoo and protected her when no one else did. I compare it to Stephan and Damon from TVD. Damon was crucial to Elena’s survival just like Wang so to Haesoo thats one of the reasons why she fell for him.
