R.I.P. jj we love you

they are the definition of "king and lionheart". i hated that they didn't get to say goodbye, even though there would be no way to say it in words. how heartbreaking their friendship was, given how it ended. jj is definitely one of those characters who have so much life, who feel too real, it's hard to believe they're not. and who stay with you for a long long time. i just hope i can carry with me some of what he's taught me, in my own life.

Season five is going to be way different without him and way more emotional. RIP jj. P4L

Sweetie your fake dad tried to kill you every chance he got... but your real dad did it... you would've been better of never meeting that selfish, inconsiderate, lying, abusive, murderous excuse for a man. Groff- "You're my boy. I love you." (If he loved him then why did he kill him?) JJ- "Don't. Don't say that. You don't know what that word means." At least before JJ died he experienced true love... He had a loving family... One in which he was always sacrificing himself for and in the end he made the ultimate sacrifice. Out of every OBX character in every episode of every season JJ was the one that deserved the world. And in a way he got it... even if it was only for a little while.... (He was abused, beaten, and mistreated but he still fought. His "father" abused him his whole life and then his actual father killed him.... If Groff wasn't a murderer before.... he is now...) He put his life on the line more than once for his friends... He was a friend. A hero. A jokester. A fighter. But above all else... he was a Pogue. In life and death cause Pogues are for life! 😭😭😭😭😭😭 R.I.P JJ I am going to watch season 5 if for no other reason than to see JJ Maybank avenged.

Him saving Sarah while she was drowning was probably one of my favorite scenes of the whole show. It shows that even though they might not get along all the time or be blood related he still cares about her and loves her so much.🩷

I really feel bad for john b more than anyone.Like in my opinion if anyone of us lost a best friend who we knew our entire life we would probably die on the inside and be super sad.Not only that John b and JJ couldn’t even spend a lot of time together in season 4 as Sarah got Pregnant and all that happened. I feel Jhon b will have the best revenge with kie ofc. Even in the bonfire scene after his death you can see how empty Jhon b was feeling without JJ. He was just staying strong for Sarah. I feel bad for both Jhon b and Chase. Their bond was not only like that irl but even more better. Chase Rudy and JD were the ultimate trio.Cant wait to see their revenge in season 5

From all of the characters he was the one who deserved a happy ending the most.His trauma,all the pain he went through when he was just 16.Even in the last week of his life none of the pouges really checked on him except of john b that one time but it got screwed up.Even tho they hugged it out and forgived each other by saying brothers for life JJ still really needed more love,especially after he found out about his real family.Now that JJ is gone they will take hella revenge from groff n take back the crown n wish for him to come back.Looking forward to season 5 especially John b and kie’s revenge

JJ maybank broke my heart His friendship with John B was one the best things in the show, not even Jiara’s bond. Their friendship was the true epic relationship in the show

Watching this made me realise tht nothing can break John B and JJ’s bond and it made me cry all over again.

His trauma isn’t talked about enough (in the show). He uses humor to bottle up his pain. Best character. R.I.P❤️

JJ maybank changed my life Completely I will never forget him even though he’s gone he will always be my smile to the day ❤ JJ when you died a piece of me died with him he’s been through so much and he still put a smile on everyone’s faces.
