I actually found the Prototypes better than the actual released versions. And one thing I’m not feeling with Jordan Brand is that I feel they should always release a Chicago colorway and a bred colorway for their flagship sneaker. I feel if they do that it connects fans to MJ and the Jordan Brand history.

Beautiful shoe and I've always been a fan of the Fastbreak line, but with one rather unusual complaint. They are too light in weight. I like to feel like I'm wearing something more substantial on my foot. Not a deal breaker, but always a concern for me. I know, weird.

The new thing on the shoe being the isoplate is sad. It’s just a lateral wing. There’s next to no tech in this shoe. The Tatum and Luka line are beyond subpar signatures. Wasted opportunity.

I work at the NB store out here in LA/Brentwood (pull up if y'all in town) and after the 9060s and maybe V4s, the 1906s are the hardest silhouette that NB has put out in my opinion. Flashy yet simple at the same time and can really be worn with anything. Great vid again Tony

So, history has shown that a new Jordan release was bold and it stood out from the pack of offerings of the time. Most of us that grew up with Jordans from very early on (4s for me) chose them because they stood out! These, look like a scoop of vanilla in a white glass bowl. Very nice indeed, but VERY ho-hum bland. There is something very SERIOUSLY missing. MJ may very well have been involved...but you're asking a person what they want in their 60s. This is a reflection of that. Amazing tech for keeping you comfy but zero pop or flash...like every grandpa at the barbecue on the 4th of July in their Air Monarchs. Point is, is we expect SOME flash in a new Air Jordan...the 38 was actually a REALLY good shoe all the way around...this one however, seems to take a step BACKWARDS in the looks department...which is really a disappointment...and that is hard to say...because at 48...I STILL rock Js everywhere I go.
