Amazing video, A friend of mine referred me to a financial adviser sometime ago and we got talking about investment and money. Great content. Does all this apply to video game studios? As a game studio, we couldn't publish our games to the GooglePlay store, Apple store, etc due to the Iran conflicts with the EU and US, Do we get the chance to move our game studio to the Netherlands?

Hi, that sounds like you have a lot of business ideas and a very broad question. Best thing to do is to start with writing a clear plan and to contact the KVK Advice Team with the specific questions you have since all these different businesses you have mentioned have different rules in their respective sectors. @@ASNoffical The KVK (Netherlands Chamber of Commerce) gives advice to (aspiring) (international) entrepreneurs about starting a business in the Netherlands. The reason why I advise you to have a draft of your plan ready is that they can help you more specifically. Other wise you will get a lot of general information. I've repeatedly head Dutch startups are not really startups in same sense as in US. But considering what are you looking for, the Dutch way can be more chill way to start a global businesses

Hi Camrone, this is what I have found out for you: If the person has not yet started the business it is possible to connect to facilitators and see if there is a match between them. If they feel there is a match they can come to an agreement and the facilitator can provide support for the startup while starting their business. Hi Anil, excuse our late reply: In theory you do not need a start capital, but that depends on the business structure you choose to start with. For example, in the Netherlands an NV is required to start with a capital of €45.000. If you choose a different business structure in the Netherlands there is no such requirement. In addition, the IND might have certain additional conditions such as a financial reserves when moving to the Netherlands.

Hi Oana, You can do this any way you see fit, as long as you make sure it'll prove the hours worked when checked by the tax authority. Our tip would be: get yourself an agenda and write down ALL hours worked, not just the billable ones. Hope this helps!

Sorry but there could be a 5min video in a more straight forward way explaining what this video did in 17 min. I've done all this as a recent immigrant (along with my partner) and it is a simple process but the video makes it look complex.

To apply, your facilitator can submit your application for a Netherlands visa to the Immigration and Naturalisation Service (Immigratie- en Naturalisatiedienst, IND), using the appropriate application form on their website. the question was about receipts, not invoices, so it went unanswered. I can see that the tax office person was highly stressed about being interviewed and his confusion is understandable, but it's a pity that the question went unanswered ultimately.

Hi Rahul, if you come to the Netherlands on a special visa, for instance a startup visa, you get an annotation in your residence permit that you are here under the startup scheme. So, basically, everyone who receives a residence permit gets the same document, and special conditions (like having a work permit, or an orientation visa) are recorded in it.
