i hit level 100 in nuclear winter back in covid. got my power armor skins. I'd rather they make a new pvp mode. like hardcore search and destroy, CTF, TDM. They would have to balance characters like they did with NW. I think it'd be good for the game

I'm guessing that the differences that in fallout 4 you are a stronger player. The capitol wasteland and the mojave variants, both have a base health of 500. The commonwealth only has a base of 425, but that's not that far off. From my personal experience, the death clause in fallout 4 weren't really that bad. I mean, literally, without any power armor I did not want to run into a death claw at all, because if they got close to me, I was gonna go down in less than two or three hits. And at a low level with weapons that didn't do very much damage.I'd have to put more than two hundred rounds into one before the thing would drop. I've even seen mojave death claws go down in less hits than that. The only time that death clause got easier was I think after about level 20 or 25, with a modded, AK-47 I built that maximized damage at 244. This could bring down a deathclaw fast. The first time I used it was when I fast traveled to take down a raider group, and when I got there, there was a deathclaw. I had no power armor and freaked out. However, I pulled out the AK I had just built, and got into VATS. It was under 11 shots and that thing was down. Far from the hundreds of rounds I was used to putting into them. The one at the other museum guarding the nest though, I went after, I went after that in a full suit of what was either T-51 or T-60 power armor I had bought from the shop south east of Boston, atoms cat garage or something. I hit the monster with like 2 mininukes, 4 rockets and gunfire, and stimpacked 4 times, and still died in under 2 minutes.

Bottle caps made kinda sense in a certain region. Unless there's a single, national exchange using them as the basis there is no reason to think everywhere would use them. I don't think the original devs ever planned on them becoming the mainstay currency, but Bethesda can't let go of member berries in their products xD

They should also make it so regular human NPCs hate you as they would hate ghouls.

Small suggestion / wish: When there is a weekly challenge that requires collecting items like garden gnome, teddy bears, or like this week, gold scrap, it would be great if you could add a small reminder of the 2 or 3 best locations to get those. I like to pop a score booster and try to get all weekly challenges at once (if possible). Getting 10 gold scrap gave me a hard time :)

Correction for the Fallout 3, 4, and 76 portion Bethesda can’t come up with an original idea in Fallout to save their lives so rather than making different currencies for the world of fallout on the east coast, the bottle cap is the currency over 2,000 miles away from its origin because “reasons” and “my heckin references”

When this first came out I tried for hours trying to get to him on ps3 pissed me off

havent spent any atoms on anything in the atomic shop besides the cold shoulder and auto axe. the plans for shit you have to get outside of the shop feels more worthwhile cause its something you worked towards getting. all this cosmetic crap is milked dry either be done with it all after the ghoul update or put some solo player content or like a playlist for main quests like for the wastelanders, reign of steel, etc where we group can up and replay them with people who havent done them easier in a casual team

Okay so to start, one of the things that absolutely I know for a fact was nerfed is their ability to literally shred through any armor you're wearing. Second, instead of going for a straight-up slaughter slash with their gigantic Claus now they literally run up to you pick you up and slam you into the ground which does not do as much damage as a straight-up slash with their razor sharp claws and again their claws have been literally nerfed. I know for a fact that they don't take as much damage as they used to because literally in the previous game of fallout New Vegas I had to have literally one of the strongest weapon in the game to be able to kill these things (ycs/186) and I can only one shot a deathclaw with this thing if I got a really lucky one hit shot while sneaking anything else this thing took about six shots to kill because of its armor rating yes the originals from New Vegas had armor unless it was one of the young ones. Actually the giant rad scorpions did the same thing and honestly they terrified the absolute hell out of me especially in scorpion gulch were they basically just dogpile you. All in all the deathclaws have been nerfed the only thing that you would you need is to shoot it with any damn weapon in the game in fallout 4 and you wouldn't have to worry about it, while in fallout New Vegas you had to have a certain amount of damage output to even do damage to these things. Now I will admit that the legendary effects on weapons can literally remove the danger factor completely from the deathclaws because they're a legendary weapons but even then they should not be that easy because let's say I have a legendary weapon that's a sniper rifle at best it should work about as well as the ycs/186 which again not counting most large weapons is probably one of the strongest weapons in New Vegas. (And please understand that I'm talking about vanilla no DLC fallout New Vegas because unfortunately by the time I actually got a copy of New Vegas with the DLCs on it my system crashed and stopped working.)
