Hey, Barry! Yes was surprised to hear about Mark... Based on your visits to places around there, I've been watching some realtor channels highlighting property in the area... There are some gems out there, but at the moment, we're kinda locked in to Tarlac and nearby... Never know though, in any case, I'll certainly have Tagaytay on the bucket list to visit when back... Hope you and Maida have a super holiday period over the next couple of weeks! Enjoy the life! 🙏🙏🙏 👍😎👍

Hopefully, we'll get to visit you, your lovely wife and dogs sometime. Take care and stay well my friend. I just decided yesterday not to return to the US and have a friend sell all my belongings.

Ramsay Khalid Ismael aka Johnny Somali never got the memo 📝. That as soon as you leave America 🇺🇸 your freedom of speech and other rights stay there. You can’t take your American constitutional right on foreign soil it doesn’t work like that.

I do hope that South Korea will make Ramsay Khalid Ismael aka Johnny Somali into a perfect example. People like them makes foreigners look bad and we can’t have good things. And we’re unable to go to good places to enjoy the view all thanks to these idiots.

As a retired Black American (born, raised, practiced in Texas) with a Filipina wife of 37 years, I’m always interested in retired life videos in the Philippines. We owned condos in BGC for many years but I recently suffered some major cardiac issues and my wife refuses to live there anymore. Nevertheless, I was struck by your mom’s admonition to refrain from playing with the Mexican kid(s). I assume she held the same views for Blacks as well. When you addressed it with your brother, did that color your views moving forward? Additionally, your brother was an impressive man and I hope he lived a fulfilled life (it seems so) while he was with us. I had to live under the shadows of four older brothers as well(doctor, fighter pilot, movie director, attorney). I think I had no choice but to succeed! I just recently started watching your channel at the behest of James Tanner. So I don’t actually know “your story”. Career, kids, meeting your wife, etc….
@barryinthepi39011 күн бұрын
I am 82 yrs old now. When I was a young kid, I didn't understand why Black people couldn't use the same restroom or drink out of the same water fountains. They had to use the "Colored" ones.. I didn't know any Black person until I joined the US Navy at 17. In High School I gave a speech in speech Class on the need to integrate all Schools. Shockingly, most of the students agreed with me. In the Navy I made many Black friends. Some of them would invite me to their homes. I enjoyed that. When my tour in the Navy was up, I moved back to Austin and was accepted into the Univerity of Texas.. There, I joined the SDS or Students for a Democratic Society, yeah the dreaded SDS'ers. We were involved in most of the demonstrations in Austin. First the civil rights protests, then the Anti-War protests of the 60's.
@drdennisyoungblood10 күн бұрын
@ Thank you for responding to my message. I failed to add that I practiced surgery for thirty years before my health forced retirement. I’m happy to hear that you participated in SDS because it tends to speak to a certain character I admire. Sadly, a great many people have forgotten Jesus’ admonition to treat others as you’d treat yourself. As such, we’ve elected a new president who exhibits the complete opposite of Christian values(lately people find all sorts of reasons to excuse or ignore the behavior). As such I’m looking for a place where my neighbors are not people who smile in my face but behind my back advocates for quashing my contributions to our shared history, limiting my rights (and people of different races, religions, skin, national origin, sexuality, etc.) . My point is, perhaps Cavite is an option in the near future. All things considered, you may see us there soon. Thank you, and I’ll keep watching.

You didn’t finish telling us what happened to Johnny Somali in Korea. What happened? Did they deport him,put him in jail, etc..?
@barryinthepi39011 күн бұрын
The last I heard is that he is in jail and if he goes to trial, he could be sentence to 16 years in Prison. I think it may be he will kicked out of Korea and banned from ever coming back ti Korea. The Koreans are pissed at him, so we will just have to wait and see.
