Besides the great historical story of the Maccabees recovering the Holy Temple from the Seleucid ruler Antiochus IV, there is a significant story told about the Menorah and the miracle of its oil that multiplied to light all 8 of its lamps for eight days which was enough time to prepare the next batch of oil for the continual menorah lighting as originally commanded by God. For me Hanukkah is a special time signifying the miraculous conception of Yeshua who is the LIGHT OF LIGHTS, and who at the fullness of time was born on Sukkot. Alleluia!! What a treasure God is!

Jesus came to the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel. He came for us all but not to us all. He preached the Kingdom Gospel. Israel rejected it. Israel got 40 years to repent. The Gospel of Grace was revealed 1st to Paul and he was sent to the gentiles. The Kingdom program was set aside in 70 AD. God turned to the gentiles with the Grace program. It will run until about 2035 or so. Then the rapture. You are wrong but thanks for the Feasts but you are not getting it.

Now regarding the rapture, the scripture where we read about this, tells us about two events where the first in this, the dead in Christ who have passed on go be with him, and the second is us who are alive being caught up in the Spirit of his coming, to stand before him when he comes. Which is the rapture of the living. Wherein those who passed on before us, having been in heaven with him, come back with him in the rapture. Now that this is mentioned, you will see it in the scripture. " But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. Wherefore comfort one another with these words." 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 KJV Now notice the context of this topic, it is with regards to those who have died before us. Who have passed onto heaven, and then at the second coming they are brought back with him. And in this context, it tells us that we who are alive, will not prevent or rather, in a better translation, the word here is "proceed" before those who died, nor prevent those who have died from passing on to him, before we are caught up to be with "them." "Them" meaning, God the Father, the Son and those who went on before us to be with them. "even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him." Hence, modern theology is not seeing all of this, nor do they see that God the Father also comes with them. Now those who have died and gone onto be with him, are all of those through the ages since Christ who have believed in him. And hence the first part spans the ages since Jesus, and the second part which is referred to as the rapture, takes place when he appears again. Somehow some folk came up with this idea that the first part is a secret coming of Christ they believe to be the rapture (instead of the second part), to snatch us away into heaven out of tribulations, to come back with him after tribulations which is how they interpret the second part. However, as you can see, this is not at all the context of these scriptures, since they foremost deal with the dead in Christ passing on from us here to be with him. There is no way anyone can honestly derive this doctrine from these scriptures, unless you take them out of their original context. And you can see the context here. You can see that the tis modern rapture doctrine that appears to be most popular, is taken out of its true context and is due scrutiny and spiritual discernment. Hence, this doctrine does not stand in true context under examination. Now we are not without a clear word regarding when this second event of those who are alive and remain, are caught up; or rather are gathered up to Jesus at his coming. Or as some say, are raptured up. Where we have two accounts of what Jesus said, in Matthew and Mark. Where he clearly tells us relative to the tribulation days, when he is coming. And hence, herein we can see when the signs of his coming begin, and when he sends his angles to gather up his elect. "Immediately *after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And *then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and *then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall *gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other." Matthew 24:29-31 "But in those days, *after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. And *then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. Mark 13:24-27 In these verses Jesus clearly tells us when he is coming relative to the tribulations. I have noted when and the following chronology of things by an *asterisk in the text. The time of when, is immediately *after the tribulations of those days, or as Mark says, " *after that tribulation." After we read about the signs and wonders in the sun, moon and stars, it tells us that "then" shall be the sign of the coming of the Son of man in the clouds of heaven. And "then" he will send his angels to gather up from the earth his elect; "and shall *gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven." which is the rapture and the second event in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. We have various opinions of when the rapture occurs, in terms of pre, mid and post tribulation theology. However, Jesus Christ the word made flesh is the ultimate authority, as the Word of God we read about in John 1:1 and John 1:14.
