I developed a bad opinion of your entire product line because of this product, and your rx receiver. For this product you left out ac voltage functionality; how much did you save by eliminating that? I had a job in 2019 that was unable to be completed with your product. At the time I had assumed all rex sensors were 12-24 ac/dc . We found out halfway through a retrofit job that we weren't able to use our existing 12vac supply with your product. We also were unable to utilize Horton Automatic's 32 -33vdc from their control. EVERY OTHER BIG MANUFACTURER'S PRODUCT that is 12-24 ac/dc can tolerate Horton's 33vdc except yours. The custom door application was so unique that we weren't able to add a power supply. (It was encased in marble) The entire job was compromised by you guys saving 12 cents on this product. Or you guys just over looked it. Also last but not least, your beeper function is not a replacement to dip switches. Imagine being an installer and trying to set up these sensors in a loud office skyscraper lobby? You cant hear the beeps!!!!! IMPOSSIBLE I was watching a video of your new CV-603 and was curious if you ever fixed your ac/dc problem on this product. Your current specs state you haven't.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback to us. We honestly appreciate it! While universal power (12/24V AC/DC) input is always our goal, it is not always possible for many reasons, including product size, configuration, cost, competitive product features, or development time. However, in all cases, Camden provides very clear information regarding power requirements across all our documentation, and we strongly advise installers to review the specs prior to going to the job site. Happily, your message gives us an excellent opportunity to let you know that our Product Development team is committed to launching our next generation of RF products by the end of this year. This product will include 12/24, AC/DC inputs with a min. 33 VDC power tolerance spec. In closing, would like to invite you to join a customer focus group. This group provides feedback to Camden product development on products in development and potential products currently not in our program. You can join our focus group by sending a message to [email protected].

You should make a video on how to change passcodes and how to use them, they are not very user friendly

can this be used to trigger a power operator?
@davidprice47853 жыл бұрын
This is an important question because a REX Sensor cannot be used as a 'knowing act' switch used to activate an auto door operator. A 'knowing act' device must have a detection range that is less than 12 inches.

A good instructional video. One I would like to see is dealing with a powered door opener installed on an apartment door. In this example you would need to use a keyed switch instead of a push button to activate the powered opener. Thank you
