honestly had the empire kept the venator in service it likely would have beaten the rebellion a lot sooner because space battles for the rebels would have been nearly impossible as venators had the point defense to defend themselves from other fighters along with decent firepower to defend itself from other capital ships but the best part is its fighter compliment it would take the fighter complement of almost 6 ISDs to equal one venator as the ISDs carried 72 fighters and bombers where as the venator carried over 420+ fighters/bombers/landing craft so let the ISDs deal with the other capital ships while the venators and its fighter compliment deal with rebel fighters and boom the galactic civil war is over before Luke can Discover his own powers

Thought on the ‘D’ the whole point of saucer separation was to have the main bridge on the saucer and the star drive section with the battle bridge. Isn’t this lost if the battle bridge is at the front of the ship ( where Ten Forward was on the ‘D’?)

The only thing about the 1701, retrofit, and -A depictions I get annoyed by are the one and a half deck thick saucer. Make it two full decks thick and give it a half height service deck around the rim.

They were too top-heavy for combat. Shorter and more thicker legs would've been better for it.

The Enterprise D is by far the most beautiful and elegant looking one (and I love the original / A / B / C / E too). After that they got more pointy - It can accommodate up to 15000 in an emergency. The J just looks a bit silly..

My favorite designs are of the Enterprise A/refit or B, but the G looks so damn cool. One day, I think it could become my favorite in terms of looks.
