Love this video!! Reminds me of my first Montessori school that I worked at for 5 years! I have a question - does your administration support you allowing students to have no shoes/pants on? I saw some students with no shoes on even outside and I LOVED it as I think feet are a great way to experience sensorial textures and also allow for better coordination. I also think having just training pants on is great for toddlers learning to toilet. Do tbe students choose to not wear these things and that is okay or are there other reasons for it like they have no more dry pants? Thanks so much! Love this video!!

The educators speaking are knowledgeable and are running a very authentic montessori program. It looks amazing. The room so spacious. Only notice a couple of things I thought could have been changed - Bread is not an ideal meal for chickens and some of the plants in the environment are poisonous to children.

I know this video is old so it might not be answered but i will ask anyways. I know you said that there is no specific time in which the child will learn but I’ve watched other Montessori videos about potty learning and they have mentioned that if they are not really getting it and having many accidents a day by 7 to 10 days, then they are not ready and to try again another time. Well what happens if your child fights having to wear a diaper?

Language lessons with a mask covering your face? 🤔 Young kids need to see facial expressions and mouth movements to develop language, do they not? Other than that this seems like a really cool program, especially the chickens!

How do you find curriculum for the upper elementary? What is a good book to read if your starting at this age and not with preschool ? My kids are 7 and 12 and I'm lost on how to find the lessons and everything is so much geared on preschool . And I want to know how to set up our homeschool room and their home spaces at this age .

This is a great video! My daughter is just turning 3 and will be starting a primary program in my local area. The school she is going to offers an Elementary program as well. I would like for her to continue to the Elementary program but my husband is on the fence about it so this video will be great to show him so he can better understand what Montessori is all about, thank you!

Currently i have no idea weather or not to go into the actual process now of using the pottyy WITHOUT the nappy as a protector. She has had dry nappies when i have not been distracted or my mum wasn't taking care of her. The issue is i feel unprepared myself rather her preparation. She communicates even once tried to tell me she needed to go and i did not realise until it was too late bless her. I recommend the nook on my potty it has a page asking if i should go in my nappy and he says i don't want to which she really liked saying noooo to and its like her convincer statement to want to go to the potty when she feels the need to go sometimes.

I loved seeing how different areas are approached in your classroom. I loved the way the older child recorded completed work. Would be able to share where there is a written record for the older child’s work that is an expectation? Thanks you!

What do you do with a child that is just not self motivated and comes into the classroom and is just goofing off and has no goal? Can you speak on this for the primary age as well as elementary?
