As you know mud flaps are required and I left them until I get full fenders as not to get messed with by dot . So I guess it will have to be the worst for a little while longer.

Sorry friend. You have so much to learn. You are stepping on dollars to pick up penny's. #1 Learn how to broker fuel. AKA futures. #2 Get out of that peace of sh%t over priced, money pit of a truck. Find a truck with a Cat, Cummins or Detroit in it, built before 1999. Make sure it has a 13 speed, or even better, twin sticks. Then make sure it does NOT have a big sleeper, that sticks up above the cab. (Old skool coffin sleeper is the best.) ( You only need a sleeper to make DOT happy. ) Learn who the real mechanics are, that work on your engine, in your lanes. Just like replacing tires, Learn when to replace parts. #3, Buy a crockpot with a lid lock. Learn how to use it. Buy a Coleman cooler/heater for your fresh food. ( Make sure you have a rebuild kit for it as well. ) And for the LOVE of GOD, stop drinking sugar water, milk, etc. Drink water, real tea, real coffee. ( Buy a coffee pot.) ( You can make tea and coffee with it. ) Oh, yes. One more thing. Little Coleman grills work well, when you have time to stop and cook. Just make sure you have propane bottles. (BTW, you can refill them at home for cheep, as well. Keep the empty bottles.) Don't know why I have a soft spot for Divers. It bites me in the A$$, half the time. Hope this helps friend..

I’m know where’s close to knowing everything. Everyone has there own ideas on what works best for them and then learns more as they go along. I not sure what you mean about brokering fuel except that you mean a fuel surcharge. I only gave an idea of what I do. As far as old school trucks go been there and will be going back to it. But in the mean time I work with what I have and what I was able to get. New truck mean down time with repairs payed for and old school means down time with you paying for it.
