Agreed, and not to criticize his looks when he was younger, but it was like he had to grow into his looks you know? He's gotten better looking and even though I usually don't care for facial hair the mustache makes a big difference. Other wise his face looks really assymetrical to the point of looking like he should be playing the "odd guy" side kick.

@@catherinesanchez1185 He did grow into a lived-in ruggedness that's tremendously appealing. I don't think it's so much that he's asymmetrical as that he has this extraordinarily pretty and sensuous mouth close beneath a strong, "masculine" type of nose. It's a bit disconcerting. A mustache creates separation and kind of "butches up" his appearance.

I noticed that as well, with the cameraman, that has to be approved through the director, so...interesting. Then in Season 2 he dies the narrating and Murphy is out.
