I really thought Sam would change his ways but he still trash talks So that’s what I would say, Sam better be careful about what he’s doing because if he continues to trash talk to other engines then there is a chance that sir topham hatt might sent him away.

In my own story of smudger. Smudger gets his freedom when he was purchased by the people when the mid sodor railway and he was taken to the skarloey railway. There he does agree to be a useful engine this time and work hard. Duke would probably not be happy to see him when he is found and taken to the skarloey railway aswell just like in the episode bulldog.
