Anyone know how to make it so I have to tell distance and break when putting? Right now every putt stats at the perfect distance to hit it I just have to find how that speed and the break react.

We play on tough settings yet still allow the unlimited putt preview in my league. Unlimited putt actually makes it more realistic in general or certain greens can turn into a shit show for a few of my friends

How do you get your 3 wood to carry 248 and have that (+ yds) where it shows distance? My 3 wood only goes 225. Thanks

You probably have a different 3 wood. Every club besides putters have their own stats and distance is one of them. But the setting is the very last one. It’s called distance display. You can set it to carry which only shows what the club Carries but it will roll additional yardage. A 3 wood say it’s 245. That’s where it will land but it won’t tell you how much it will roll. If you turn it to total. It will show you it’s gonna carry 245 but then show the roll maybe like 15 for a 3 wood.

I am seeing comments on other video channels that are saying that you cannot compete in Career Mode unless you are playing "online" or something of that nature? also, when U design your own course, can U add a gallery of spectators to the fairways and greens?

I know this video is 2 years old but maybe i can get some answers anyways, i play on hard difficulty and i win every round i play wether it be single player PGA Tour or online head to head 1v1 and yet it seems like it takes FOREVER to build any sort of usable credits, any thoughts or ideas on this ?, it's really putting me off the game and is why i stopped playing it for quite a while, great game, i love it but my god it take forever to make jack shit, please help.

Past tense to shrink is shrunk whilst on subject grammar and spelling. So swing plane has shrunk not shrink!!

Now I just gotta learn how to play this game without being drunk, and I may be able to advnace beyond the Beginner difficulty, lol

What exactly is happening if you play this game with a mouse? Do I have to try to move my mouse backwards in a straight line for the backswing? If so, how far do I have to move it and what do I do to start the downstroke? Is it possible to play with just mouseclicks?

This is how I play the game anyway. Even better, if you are left handed use the right stick. Right handed use the left stick. It helps that you can rest most of your hand on the controller for better stability.

I guess the game was updated because in legend difficulty you dont even have swing meter anymore

With wind on meter only the speed is displayed still but a the percentage of the circle that is filled.

This was an awesome tutorial! I had this game for a few weeks and have accomplished winning the entire FedEx Cup Season against all the professionals including JT in Career Mode! It was rewarding winning all the freebies from the sponsors including enhanced clubs and tournament trophies. I played in the Amateur default setting using 2 rounds using only the one-preview option. I didn't realize it could be set up to more than one but using only the one-preview option really help my learning curve expediently! Now I'm ready for the Pro setting.

What part of the swing is the meter for that says fast/slow/perfect?

It's how fast you make the downswing (the part where you push the stick up). If you're too fast it goes left. Too slow and it goes right.

@@RICHUNCLEPENNYBAGS77 That option should be turned off while playing against others, some of us don't use that so we see it as a cheat. It pretty much shows you the whole damn path, I don't even use the GREEN GRID either. Try it out sometime

That’s how I do it too, but I have to have the controller siting on my lap on top of my IPad under neath the controller to keep it level. 👍🏻
