Cameron, I'm so glad I took your courses 7 years ago. The skills and knowledge I gained in your courses gave me a firm set of basics to build the rest of my career from.

Yes I know but in some cases you would have to know how to scale a analog signal if the information was coming from a third party card like a Hardy weigh scale interface.

only as a suggestion, in the configuration of the module(i/O configuration) you can directly configure each channel of the analog card and assign the measure to use engineering as well as the offset, the minimum and maximum input, and mA or VDC. great explanation of what an analog signal.

Gosh man, you went way, way, WAY too much into theoretical musings instead of doing a quick and dirty explanation, with maybe some clarification, which is what most people looking for a tutorial want. I had to skip past the 30 minutes mark before you put down a single bit of code. If it's hard to keep actual, physical students focused with a 30 minutes lecture, it's next to impossible to do that with a virtual audience. Way too much theory and math, way too litle actual code.

If you don't like it please don't watch it. These videos are for my students, I post them as a public service. I also have ads disabled because I am not trying to make a profit. I am deeply sorry you found more information than you needed on a tutorial video.
