what version of ywallet did you use? I cannot find that option in ywallet where you input derivation key. on the movie it cannot be seen where do you click.

Hi Hanh, I have a very old Zcash wallet with only a private key (I also have a wallet backup file). I tried sweeping it with the Ywallet app that you are using, but I get an error message saying I have insufficient funds, even though I funded my new wallet with some money (0.22165132 ZEC, which should have been enough, right?). Do you have an idea about how can I fix this?

@ No, the only explanation I can think of is that the wallet I want to recover is actually empty (I either forgot I sold everything or it was hacked). Ideally I would like to have access to the wallet to see what happened...

Which ordinary person understands this? Unbelievable. I wouldnt advise regular joes to get this coin. It will end up trapped in most wallets. The developers better fix this before the whole world finds out. Very inconvenient.

hey hanh cool videos, but the audio is coming from only left ear side. i think it should be easy to fix in some simple video editing program to add copy of same audio channel into the right channel. it would be much more enjoyable that way :D

I followed along and built it (I use Kate but it has LSP support for Rust). I'll try to spend some time and try to get a better understanding, but otherwise it seems pretty straightforward for the basic demo. Thank you for doing this, very infotmative.

@@RobertoGarcia-t4z Install Ywallet, choose Zcash, input your seed phrase. On the radio buttons I chose "S", I guess it stands for Shielded. Worked for me

yes but zecwallet users can create additional shielded addresses. They will have to be imported manually.
