Hey there. You just add some water and the fruit. You can adjust the amounts to your liking to make it denser or softer. ☺️ at the end, if you want, you can add some extra splash of lemon juice.

@JoyofOrigins4 ай бұрын

@JoyofOrigins5 ай бұрын
Yes, it is! It used to be a popular thing to bake dating back at least in the 1800s. Now you can't really find it in bakeries but the seeds are available in stores when in season.

Hi thank you for sharing our Cypriot culture. I would also like to own Cyprus's indigenous flute. Could you tell me where I can get one from and how much it will cost?
@JoyofOrigins7 ай бұрын
Hey there! I don't really know where you can get one or the it's price. Individuals who make them might also sell them. Try checking on Heartland of Legends website. Is a website by the ministry of Tourism. They used to have some free workshops on how to make this flute. Maybe you can get a contact from there.

QUESTION: Have you ever tried Tremithopites or cooked with Terebinth Seeds? Also, it was so interesting for me to realize that some of the villages I pass by so often took their name from this tree!! Like Kokkinotrimithia or Tremithousa! It makes so much sense, but I have never thought of it before!

Just awesome ! If we only come to Cyprus in summer is there a way to get our hands on some of this berry ?
@JoyofOrigins9 ай бұрын
The berries are not mature enough in summer, so it will likely be hard to harvest them directly from a tree. However, you might be able to find them in a nut shop or from a nut vendor.
