HAHA I HAVE VERY LITTLE BUT STILL SOME PITY FOR MY DAD BECUASE I LEFT BUT FOR SOME REASON IDC ABOUT LEAVING HIM BECAUSE HE WAS ALWAYS LIKE ALMOST EVERYDAY AT WORK SO I DONT HAVE MUCH BUT UH I still like him but he also have said stuff like “that’s what women always say” so like eh he not very good Also I don’t visit him at all oh and no one as called me “just like your dad” or something and sometikes I feel like I don’t feel empathy I mean I can feel sorry for someone but, then I doubt if I ACTUALLY feel sorry for them and etc because of moving away from my dad and not really feeling anything, Also having bigger frustration issues man. (Pity is different but similar to empathy in a lot ways)

As someone whos parents never married but shared custody it wasnt all bad the packing wasnt that bad and wishing they were together isnt something that would benefit anyone since they broke up for a reason and the leaving the sleepover thing is fair but its not as bad as it seems since usually u can schedule it for the time ur at the closer parent to the person and the leaving things at the other parents house does happen sometimes but thats your fault not the fact theyre broken up you forgot it not them

I hate it bc my mom says my dad is a bad person but she hasnt even seen him in years bc she broke up when i was one and hes really nice i can trust him but not my mom or step dad

I saw this 2 years later while scrolling 😢 i want to share as summary of my story My parents also divorcing , i don't know what happened before about their life or while i am with them cheated not cheated both side i don't know i can't judge but . This shouldnt be like that. I didn't even thought that youtube videos about *parents divorced* or scenes about these from movies could jump to my life . As muslim Vallahi Indont know what to do ! If there are muslim brotthers make dhua for me my family i need your dhua. Well, at least with me, my parents had a good divorce. They didn’t fight much they were just divorced. And i didnt pack becasue i had like a bed and clothes and all that already and i dont miss sleepovers because if i’m at my dad’s and i want to have one i my mom and dad just communicate about and my mom picks me up from the sleepover and i do forget stuff at the other house all the time haha but my parents only live like, two min away from eachouther

Nobody gets it . This is why people say to me " Youre so EMOTIONLESS and UNDERSTANDING " i just dont want to fight . My dads house is so cramped and my sister has told me personally there is no room for me . I share a room with her so ive learnt to cry silently at night . I cant ask for help .
